This trip is perfect for families and offers a host of fun-filled family activities. We start with some sightseeing of World Heritage sites in Kathmandu, watch the monkey running riot at the Monkey Temple, witness local life history and culture in the centre of Kathmandu. From here we have a spot of adventure with some rafting on the Trishuli River before heading off to Chitwan for a day of jungle safari. We can experience a host of wildlife in the Chitwan National Park riding on elephant back and by canoe down the river. We have the opportunity to visit a local village, visit with the friendly kids that live here and learn more about village life. We then travel to Pokhara the beautiful lakeside town where we can see the amazing Himalayan ranges and watch the sunrise, go for a ride on the lake and just relax and soak up the atmosphere. There are three days of light trekking which takes us to the spectacular viewpoint at Australian Camp through the traditional village of Dhampus, it’s an easy trek that is suited to anyone including those of limited fitness.
We booked all our local tours and transportation with Arjun and he was such a warm host. He went out of his way to make sure everything was done perfectly and I would highly recommend him. He doesn't treat you like big tour companies would and gave a very personal touch!
